Impact by Design Program
Turning Voices Into Visibility
Every year, countless grassroots organizations work tirelessly for culture, education, the environment, and community. But many still lack even the simplest online presence.
Having inefficient website or no website at all means:
- Their work goes unnoticed.
- Volunteers and donors can’t find them.
- Their impact remains hidden.
I believe small organizations with big hearts deserve more. This initiative gives them professional websites—free of charge—so their stories can travel further, inspire deeper, and change more lives.
Backstory
Back in 2004, a foundation supporting children in a small Hungarian orphanage had a dream—and no website. With almost no resources, they wanted to give those children something priceless: a voice.
When the Thot Initiative built them a website, everything changed. For the first time, their children could publish their own booklet, Útitárs (Travelling Companion), explaining their rights in their own words. They could share, connect, and feel part of a bigger world.
